Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Context

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to potential security threats, ensuring that company systems and data remain secure from cyberattacks.
Job Responsibility

Monitor security systems and identify potential cyber threats through analysis of security alerts.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, implementing remediation actions.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and networks.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement and manage security controls and policies.
Develop incident response plans and lead incident investigations.
Maintain and update cybersecurity software, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus tools.
Stay up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and recommend proactive solutions.
Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
Provide cybersecurity awareness training to staff.
Report on cybersecurity metrics and prepare documentation for compliance audits.
Educational Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience Requirement

2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
Additional Requirement

Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, and security monitoring platforms.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) preferred.
